Smoking Statistics
The Canadian and US Governments spend millions of dollars researching tobacco use and its effects. These findings are freely available on their respective websites.
We are not going to post their findings and try to pass research off as our own. However we have secured permission to use their data here on the End the Habit website. End the Habit has chosen to use these statistics to provide credibility and not portray skewed numbers used by other companies. Therefore all materials are presented in their original format and without bias.
It is our hope that this provides all the information you need to make an educated decision when it comes to quitting smoking. As you can see, analysis of the tables show that between 40-50% of smokers attempt to quit every year. You are not alone.
If you do have a fact or pertinent research that you feel should be added, by all means let us know.
